If you are like many people you may be having a difficult time getting out of your head and into your body during intimate time with your partner. That’s okay! Here are some tips:

  1. Take long deep breaths. Longer, deeper breaths help the body feel more sensation, feel safe and relaxed and help keep you connected to what is happening in your body vs. in your mind.
  2. Practice sensory awareness skills. I teach these skills in my Couples Program during the Erotic Fundamentals module but you can practice on your own!
  3. Center your own pleasure. You may be so preoccupied with how your partner is feeling and forget to center your own pleasure.

Try these tips and see what happens!
