I am excited to announce that Opening the LOTUS – Sexual Empowerment Circles will now be held at the beautiful Terra’s Temple on the Oakland/Berkeley border! This is a gorgeous space dedicated to healing and full body empowerment with a beautiful altar and circle seating in the Temple perfect for women’s work.
In honor of April’s Sexual Assault Awareness Month our circle will focus on how to Survive & Thrive with Love after any form of sexual abuse including objectification, disrespect of boundaries, childhood sexual abuse, sexual assault, date rape or just being a woman in a culture that doesn’t always feel safe.
We will gather to share our stories, be held in a safe container, enjoy some simple and nourishing foods, gain resources to expand our capacity for self-Love, make new connections and have some real talk about what it means to Survive & Thrive and how we can continue to create a life of Love.
Using a circle space that is co-created by each woman including coming up with community guidelines, a talking stick, somatic practices and meditations, a co-created altar and sharing food we will feel the abundance of female healing energy.
*Look forward to a monthly sexual empowerment circle and a monthly skill-building workshop! more info coming soon…
Please join the MeetUp below (click on link) for updates on all future circles and to RSVP
Opening the LOTUS ~ Women’s Sexual Empowerment Circles are for women who want a safe, shame-free space to discuss sexuality. We share our stories, gain strength from each other, learn about our bodies, discuss orgasm, sexual preferences, sexual styles, body image, sexual shame & trauma, and heal any wounds we may have around our sexual experiences.
